We are hoping you will join us at our upcoming MaineCare NET (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Advisory Committee meeting via ZOOM on Thursday, June 16th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Mid-Coast Connector, a division of Waldo Community Action Partners, is the regional MaineCare Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Broker for all MaineCare members residing in Waldo, Knox, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties, as well as Brunswick and Harpswell.

The Advisory Committee Team is comprised of Medical Providers, Community Care Managers, MaineCare members utilizing transportation services, representatives from The Office of MaineCare Services and Transportation Providers.

This Regional Advisory Committee convenes every six months to review and discuss opportunities to improve reliability, stability and access to transportation for MaineCare members going to non-emergency MaineCare covered medical appointments in the region.

The Advisory Committee also serves as an important means of communication regarding MaineCare Non-Emergency Transportation practices and regulation between the care community and the Brokerage.

Meeting topics will include:

  • Brokerage performance during previous 6 months
  • Communications and coordination
  • Procedural updates
  • Stakeholder feedback / Open Forum
