Change in cancellation policy for MaineCare transportation.

Please take note of the following important change to the Mid-Coast Connector cancellation policy for all MaineCare transportation. Effective July 1, 2022 we will require a 24-hour notice from the scheduled time of pick up to cancel transportation. Cancellations less than 24 hours from the scheduled time of pick up will be subject to the No-Show policy. If you have any questions about this change, please reach out to customer service at Tel: 855 930 7900 during regular business hours Mon-Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We are hoping you will join us at our upcoming MaineCare NET (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Advisory Committee meeting via ZOOM on Thursday, June 16th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Mid-Coast Connector, a division of Waldo Community Action Partners, is the regional MaineCare Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Broker for all MaineCare members residing in Waldo, Knox, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties, as well as Brunswick and Harpswell. Waldo Community Action Partners is excited to announce a new initiative that is building off of last year’s Summer Food Service Program for Children – Community Cafés! Concerned about rapidly rising fuel prices? Are your windows drafty? Insulating window inserts from the non-profit WindowDressers can make your home more comfortable. The Kindness that Keeps Waldo Warm

Last month, a generous individual donated $6,000 to our 'Keep Waldo Warm' fund in memory of Tanya Hubbard. Our 'Keep Waldo Warm' fund provides heating assistance to those in need throughout Waldo County, which was a cause near and dear to Tanya's heart. In fact, just four years before she lost her battle with cancer in 2016, Tanya started a campaign and raised more than $11,000 to buy heating oil for needy families.
