Dr. Kalache is coming (virtually) to Maine to share his international perspective on longevity and the importance of aligning policy and practice in building systems and communities that work for people in their 80s, 90s, and 100s. He’ll underscore the imperative of centering equity, belonging and being anti-ageist and anti-racist activist in this work. He will share how important storytelling is related to advancing age-equitable policies, including in housing, transportation and the workforce. Some impressive Mainers will reflect on what they heard and how the work currently happening in Maine can be aligned to make Maine more longevity ready. You’ll have a chance to interact as well.
