Waldo Community Action Partners today announced the launch of a comprehensive survey aimed at soliciting feedback on the agency’s use of a 78 parcel of land in Belfast. The survey is open to all stakeholders, including the community members, nonprofits, local businesses, and all interested parties who want to enhance the services Waldo CAP provides.

“We are committed to being a responsible community partner and providing high-quality services to the community,” said WCAP CEO Donna Kelly, LCSW. “This survey is an important part of our effort to engage with the community and ensure that our plans are aligned with their needs and expectations.”

The survey covers a range of topics related to WCAP’s plans, including the uses of the land, responsiveness to community needs, and the types of services offered.

WCAP is committed to ensuring that the planning and construction is done in a way that serves the best interests of the community. The feedback received through the survey will be used to inform decision-making and improve the plans for site.

The survey is available online at https://forms.office.com/r/rcfY6pXa7Q and hard copies can be obtained from WCAP’s office at 9 Field Street, Suite 201, Belfast Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Responses can be mailed returned to WCAP at PO Box 130, Belfast, ME 04915. The survey will be open until August 22, 2023. All responses will be kept confidential and analyzed to identify areas for improvement.

In September 2023, WCAP will host Community Forums to share the collected data and seek additional input on concept plans.
