June 10, 2022, BELFAST, MAINE - The Federal Emergency Management Agency has designated available funding of $26,291 through ARPA-R and $8,511 through Phase 39 to be distributed through the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) to organizations who provide emergency food and shelter services in Waldo County. Please take note of the following important change to the Mid-Coast Connector cancellation policy for all MaineCare transportation. Effective July 1, 2022 we will require a 24-hour notice from the scheduled time of pick up to cancel transportation. Cancellations less than 24 hours from the scheduled time of pick up will be subject to the No-Show policy. Waldo Community Action Partners is excited to announce a new initiative that is building off of last year’s Summer Food Service Program for Children – Community Cafés!
