WCAP will be distributing Pre-Packed Disaster Relief Food Boxes and Produce at the Waldo County Technical Center, 1022 Waterville Road, Waldo, on Tuesday, May 19th from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM (or until supply is depleted). This distribution is for all Early Childhood Program families, as well as the general public. Please follow traffic signs, there will be a one-way traffic pattern around the building. WCAP will again be distributing Disaster Relief Food at the Waldo County Technical Center, 1022 Waterville Road, Waldo, on Tuesday, May 5th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The distribution will consist mainly of produce and frozen meats. Some dry, shelf-stable products will also be available. This distribution is for all Early Childhood Program families, as well as the general public. Please follow traffic signs, there will be a one-way traffic pattern around the building. This is a no-contact drive-through food pantry. Please do not exit your vehicle. The requested product will be placed in your trunk or back seat.

Don't delay special enrollment periods are typically 60 days surrounding a qualifying event. Waldo Community Action Partners and other similar agencies are still here to help. Due to inclement weather conditions, all WCAP offices will be closed today to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients. We will reopen for normal business tomorrow, weather permitting. Mid-Coast Public Transportation will be cancelled today with some exceptions. Please note that cancellations do include both Belfast and Rockland DASH.

Waldo Community Action Partners (WCAP) is pleased to announce that Dorothy Havey has joined the organization as our new Resource Developer. This is part of a long-range plan to grow and strengthen the organization, which will be celebrating its 55th anniversary later this year. The Resource Developer’s responsibilities will include planning, implementing, and evaluating development, communications, and public relations opportunities for the organization.
