WCAP to hold another disaster relief food distribution

WCAP will be distributing Pre-Packed Disaster Relief Food Boxes and Produce at the Waldo County Technical Center, 1022 Waterville Road, Waldo, on Tuesday, May 19th from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM (or until supply is depleted). This distribution is for all Early Childhood Program families, as well as the general public. Please follow traffic signs, there will be a one-way traffic pattern around the building. WCAP’s Disaster Relief Food Distribution

WCAP will again be distributing Disaster Relief Food at the Waldo County Technical Center, 1022 Waterville Road, Waldo, on Tuesday, May 5th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The distribution will consist mainly of produce and frozen meats. Some dry, shelf-stable products will also be available. This distribution is for all Early Childhood Program families, as well as the general public. Please follow traffic signs, there will be a one-way traffic pattern around the building. This is a no-contact drive-through food pantry. Please do not exit your vehicle. The requested product will be placed in your trunk or back seat.

Waldo Community Action Partners to assist in administering statewide Rent Relief Program for people affected by COVID-19

AUGUSTA, Maine – Governor Mills and MaineHousing have entrusted the ten Maine Community Action Agencies (CAAs) to process and deliver a COVID-19 Rent Relief Program, which will allow renters to apply for a one-time $500 payment to their landlords in order to avoid eviction for the month of that payment, at this point April or May.
