Waldo Community Action Partners is excited to announce a new initiative that is building off of last year’s Summer Food Service Program for Children – Senior Cafés! However, we need your help to make it happen. Starting the week of June 23rd, we will be hosting ‘Senior Cafés’ in a couple sites in Waldo County. Concerned about rapidly rising fuel prices? Are your windows drafty? Insulating window inserts from the non-profit WindowDressers can make your home more comfortable. Get ready to get back-to-school with free backpacks and school supplies provided by WCAP! FREE to Mainecare and WIC eligible children ages K-12 who live in Waldo County. Governor Mills and the Legislature have approved giving back more than half the budget surplus to taxpayers of Maine. To help Mainers claim their $850 relief checks, the State has launched the below website. WCAP Requesting Proposals for Building Project
