Waldo Community Action Partners (Waldo CAP), a private, non-profit 503(c) organization located in Belfast, Maine, is requesting proposals to help establish a building project vision for a 78-acre parcel of land located in Belfast, Maine. Last month, a generous individual donated $6,000 to our 'Keep Waldo Warm' fund in memory of Tanya Hubbard. Our 'Keep Waldo Warm' fund provides heating assistance to those in need throughout Waldo County, which was a cause near and dear to Tanya's heart. In fact, just four years before she lost her battle with cancer in 2016, Tanya started a campaign and raised more than $11,000 to buy heating oil for needy families.
