Waldo Community Action Partners (WCAP) has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of August. The Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, which launched in April 2014, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. Waldo Community Action Partners was selected as the August beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Hannaford located at 93 Lincolnville Avenue in Belfast.
WCAP will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during August. “We were very excited to have been chosen as the beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Program,” said Donna Kelley, President & CEO at Waldo Community Action Partners. “WCAP and the Belfast Hannaford are both strong committed advocates for our community and our community members. It’s wonderful to have this opportunity to be the recipient of proceeds through the support of Hannaford and our community members which will provide support for the community services we provide.”
