Please note the following changes to the Rockland and Belfast Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) bus route schedules, effective Monday, July 8th, 2019:
We have carefully designed these new routes and schedules using data gathered during the past year of testing the new DASH system. The new routes are based on passenger use, analysis of which stops are being used, feedback from the communities regarding the need for new stops, and fiscal feasibility studies.

Belfast & Rockland DASH Schedule change Brief Questions and Answers
(Schedule change effective July 8th, 2019)
What will the new days and hours of service be?
Belfast DASH will operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:20 A.M. to 5:16 P.M. (Eight (8) loops per day).
Rockland DASH will operate Monday through Friday from 7:45 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. (Eight (8) loops per day).
Will I be able to flex stops as usual?
Yes, there are no changes to the flex stop availability. Call (207) 338-4769 to learn more or to schedule a flex stop.
Will the prices and fares change?
No, the prices and fares will be the same, including the reduced price Chickadee cards.
Why is the Belfast Dash changing direction?
The direction change will allow the service to stop at more places with a more efficient and safe route.
Why is the Rockland DASH direction changing and becoming a loop?
The new loop route in Rockland will accommodate more stop options and efficiencies. This will allow more people to use the services.
