WCAP to hold a drive-up Community Food Pantry

WCAP will be having a Drive-up Community Food Pantry on Wednesday, March 25th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Jabine Head Start Center, 275 High Street. Community members are welcome to drive through and accept a pre-packaged bag of food donated by the Good Shepard Food Bank. We ask that you remain in your vehicle and follow the established traffic pattern. Bags will be brought to you. If you have any questions or need more resources to obtain food, please contact our main office at (207) 338-6809.

Maine Community Action Association (MCAA) and several Maine Community Action Agencies, including WCAP, have agreed to work in partnership with Maine DHHS to make their new online benefits portal available to those in need. The benefits portal, known as “My Maine Connection” went live in September of 2011 and has been dubbed “your resource for independence” by DHHS.
