WCAP to hold a drive-up Community Food Pantry
Amanda Simmons2020-03-23T16:15:09-04:00WCAP will be having a Drive-up Community Food Pantry on Wednesday, March 25th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Jabine Head Start Center, 275 High Street. Community members are welcome to drive through and accept a pre-packaged bag of food donated by the Good Shepard Food Bank. We ask that you remain in your vehicle and follow the established traffic pattern. Bags will be brought to you. New benefits portal makes online application possible through DHHS

The benefits portal, known as “My Maine Connection” went live in September of 2011 and has been dubbed “your resource for independence” by DHHS. The portal, which allows individuals to go online to apply for TANF (food supplements/food stamps), health care, cash assistance, and childcare, is a one stop shop for many low-income needs.
