WCAP launches new First-Time Homebuyers and Financial Education programs

Prospective homebuyers whose lender or mortgage assistance program requires them to attend a HUD approved homebuyer education class no longer need to travel outside Waldo County to fulfill requirements. First Time Homebuyer classes are now available right here in Belfast, through Waldo Community Action Partners (WCAP). After completing a year-long certification process, WCAP is an officially certified HUD Housing Counseling Agency and hoMEworks Certified Agency now offering First Time Homebuyers courses once a month.
