WCAP’s Early Childhood Program’s Nutrition Coordinator has compiled an updated list of the food pantries/cupboards in Waldo County for those seeking assistance during these unprecedented times. Below you will find each food pantry/cupboard’s address, contact information and hours of operation.

Greater Bay Area Ministerial Food Cupboard

Palermo Food Pantry

Limit the number of people in the pantry at one time. Require the use of hand sanitizer before entering the pantry. Volunteers use gloves and wear a mask. Announce that people are to keep a distance from others. Will make home deliveries if people are unable to come to the pantry.

Neighbor’s Cupboard

Assembled boxes of food to speed up the distribution process and minimize contact.?Established a “proxy” pick-up where neighbors/family members can pick up for others. Instituted a drive-through distribution of prepacked boxes, prebagged produce. A volunteer takes people’s names and family sizes from the vehicle, food is put on a table outside of the pantry, clients drive up and load into their vehicle.
