Second Waldo County public work group meeting to advance public transportation is January 18

Work Group Post Waldo Community Action Partners’ Transportation program is putting the key in the ignition on expanding public transportation in Waldo County and the Mid-Coast but we could use your help navigating.
 
Please join us for the second public meeting of the Waldo County Civic Transportation Advisory Work Group (W-TAWG). The purpose of this meeting is to bring together community members and stakeholders throughout Waldo County who are interested in the advancement and improvement of public transportation. The goal is to establish a working group centered on route and rate development, communication and coordination, and funding resources.

 

The meeting will take place on Thursday, January 18 at 3 p.m. at the Wentworth Event Center, 139 Searsport Avenue, Belfast.
 
We want to ensure that anyone interested has access to this meeting. If you need any of the following assistance, please let us know by Tuesday, December 16:
• Sign language interpreter
• Foreign language interpreter: specify language
• Large print documents
• Transportation
