MCPT offers temporary route for Concord Coach customers affected by the Belfast stop construction

Due to construction, the Belfast CONCORD COACH stop will be CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
In the meantime, Concord is asking passengers to use the Searsport location for pick- ups and drop-offs.
SEARSPORT LOCATION: Steamboat Gallery, 161 East Main St., Route 1, Searsport, ME
While the construction takes place MID-COAST PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION will have weekday service available to get passengers from Belfast to Searsport and from Searsport to Belfast.
Departing Belfast: Monday – Friday at 7:20 AM & 4:40 PM
Departing Searsport: Monday – Friday at 7:45 AM & 5:10 PM

First meeting of work group to advance and improve public transportation in Waldo County is Dec. 1, all are welcome

Waldo Community Action Partners’ Transportation program is putting the key in the ignition on expanding public transportation in Waldo County and the Mid-Coast but we could use your help navigating.
Please join us for the first public meeting of the Waldo County Civic Transportation Advisory Work Group (W-TAWG). The purpose of this meeting is to bring together community members and stakeholders throughout Waldo County who are interested in the advancement and improvement of public transportation. The goal is to establish a working group centered on route and rate development, communication and coordination, and funding resources.
During this meeting, we will among other items:

  • Provide a brief overview of Mid-Coast Public Transportation (MCPT).
  • Provide an overview of the direction MCPT is taking.
  • Define the structure of W-TAWG and its role.
  • Define work groups.

  • The meeting will take place on Friday, December 1st from 9am-11am at the Wentworth Event Center, 139 Searsport Avenue, Belfast.
    We want to ensure that anyone interested has access to this meeting. If you need any of the following assistance, please let us know by Monday, November 27th.
